Ilaria Storelli is a sinologist, she is passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures, that’s why she started to study Mandarin and Chinese culture over 8 years ago. First she gained her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, afterwards she moved to Beijing for a semester to keep learning Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University. Then she gained a Master’s degree in Mandarin and Chinese Culture at Università Ca’ Foscari of Venice, where she lived for two years. In 2018 she moved to China again, in Suzhou, where she gained a Master’s Degree at Silk Road School of Renmin University of China. She is currently living and working in Milan in the tourism and events industry, in the meantime she keeps studying Chinese and learning about Chinese culture. While studying and living in China, she became more and more passionate about East and Southeast Asian cultures, that is why now she is also deepening her knowledge of Korean language and Korean culture.
